My verification code has letters but the activation screen will only allow numbers

1. If your invitation was originally sent by your property management company in 2020, you may have received an invite code that has letters in it. Due to an update in the app, the verification boxes during the sign-up process don't allow letters anymore. 

2. In order to still sign-up, you can copy & paste the code that you received in your email into the boxes that are presented during the sign-up process. This will allow you to put letters in the boxes.
